Who is a hero to you? Is it a politician, a sportsperson, a truth teller or do good-er?
The media promotes heroes of all kinds, and the web is full of stories of people trying to find their place in the hierarchy of "likes" too. But it's local heroes, known for feats often vastly different to those achieved by the above mentioned type of heroes.... it's local heroes that really appeal to Yoyuu.
Did you grow a big vegetable? Did you report a litter bug? If so Yoyuu wants you on the front page - your name up in lights - for doing something unifying and useful, helpful and let's face it in the case of large vegetables it can be darn funny at times too.
Local héros, often promoted in the local rag that is delivered free to you door in most metro areas, are the bomb. They live their lives, they help and grow and foster communities and they just get on with it.
Reading about they guy around the corner who helps others is more important than the latest royal feud or fashion faux pas.
